The Details
Here is the place where I share my thoughts as they come to me. It's almost gonna be like my blog to help you and be a good reminder to myself. My contribution to help the world.
Becoming “Grateful”:
- If you're ungrateful for what you have, become grateful. Yes, you've heard this before, but you may ask yourself: How does one become “grateful”? Well, try to truly enjoy what you have and remind yourself that things could be worse, but they aren't. It's that simple. Take action now. Yes, you are encountering hardship or unfairness, but that is life sometimes. It's not about fighting through the pain. That will lead to burnout. It's about acknowledging the pain and understanding that it won't last forever. It really won't.
It can take years to understand this. Some people are horrible, I know. I want you to understand this now. There is light at the end of the tunnel. As long as you have life in you, there is space for things to improve. Hardship is a part of life (unfortunately, but that is where the knowledge and wisdom are). There is always a bigger picture - something bigger than you, with more detail, colour and background. Always look for the bigger picture.
Think of yourself as an experience. Ask Yourself: “How do people experience me? What Do They Experience?”
- Turn who you are into an experience. Do people feel energised, happy, encouraged, edified, cooler, smarter after they've been around you?
Or do they feel drained, sad, frustrated, annoyed, or worse after they've been around you? Be a radiator of positive, kind energy. Not an energy drain.
Are you funny? Lean into that. Are you generous? Lean into that. Are you well dressed? Lean into that. You may be an inspiration to others.
When friends, family etc, come to you abode, do you offer them a drink? Snacks? Is your house clean and smelling good? Is there artwork on the wall?
Plants in the house? Is there music playing? What type of drinks do you have in the fridge? This is all experience.
Is your car clean? Do you have air freshener in your car? A good playlist?
